  • Designed to be used on the 1JZ, 2JZ engine.
  • Ideal length for use with 3mm thick washers and flange nuts all avalable in this shop.
  • The material is grade 5 titanium, most widely used titanium alloy. Ti-6Al-4V also sometimes called TC4, Ti64 or ASTM (Titanium with 6% Aluminium and 4% Vanadium). It has excellent corrosion resistance to salt water, marine atmospheres and a variety of corrosive media temperatures below 300 ° C.
  • Strength is slightly less than an equivalent 10.9 steel fastener.
  • When installing these exhaust studs it is important to apply either an anti-seize grease such as molybdenum disulphide or copper ‘slip’ grease. 
  • Failure to apply anti-seize grease (on non-safety critical fixings) may cause the threads to gall on final torque of fastener and a seized/damaged thread.
  • ~ 45% lighter than carbon steels.
  • ~ 40% lighter than 316 stainless steel.
  • Stronger than 316 stainless steel!
